BMW Looking Into Using Lasers In Headlights

We all think of lasers as something dangerous, and with good reason.  Anybody who's ever watched a James Bond movie knows that lasers cut through steel like butter, and villains like to attach them to the heads of sharks to taunt and potentially destroy super-spy protagonists.

But lasers aren't as dangerous as we've been led to believe.  In fact, they don't even have to be annoying, like the little one teenagers?

It's time for us all to admit that the way we view engines is going to have to change.  In the past, huge engine capacity and multiple cylinders were what defined a good, strong engine, but with increasingly stringent environmental standards for fuel efficiency, the reality is that a lot of those old super-engines are going to have to hit the wayside for smaller mechanics with better MPG's.
