BMW To Integrate Lasers Into Headlight Technology

When it comes to headlights on a car, the big trend right now is LED's.  They use less energy, they burn brighter with a more natural color, and (most importantly to some) they actually look way cooler cruising on the highway at nighttime.

But now, a new headlight trend seems headed for Tampa BMW lots, something that could be even cooler and more technologically impressive than LED's and the revolution they've inspired?

Now that we're three or four years into this whole recession thing, I think it's time to admit that yes, we are in fact facing some sort of national financial crisis.  That's not a news flash or anything, but it is a realization a lot of companies across the globe are coming to as they make their own cuts and face these financial shortcomings as practically as they can.

When hybrid cars first started becoming popular, a lot of automakers kind of shrugged the whole thing off as a fad.  Sure, gas prices were more astronomical than actual astronomy and have only gotten worse, but because early hybrids were so much less powerful than their all-gas counterparts, some companies rightfully believed that they wouldn't last.

So if hybrids wouldn't last, certainly all-electric vehicles were an even bigger joke, right?  I mean, right?


New BMW iPhone App Opening Up New Roads

The best applications for phones and other smart devices are the ones that actually serve a purpose that people didn't even know needed serving.  I'll give you an example of one of my favorites right now-the app from national pharmacy Walgreen's.
