They say that nothing in this life is free, but we know for a fact that's not true.  IKEA sometimes gives out free breakfasts, even if you don't buy any furniture.  Panda Express sometimes passes out those little coupons for a free sample of a new product.  And BMW is gearing up to give away a 3 Series in April.

How does one toss themselves into the hat for a shot at a free BMW 3 Series?  Simply enter the automaker's "Zero to Desir3 in 5.9 Seconds" contest by creating a short YouTube video explaining why you're so geeked to win a BMW.

The video needs to last approximately 5.9 seconds, which is the time it takes the prize car to go from zero to sixty, and the only other criteria is that the video fully demonstrate the contestant's desire to actually own the vehicle.  Submit your video to BMW's Facebook page or YouTube account, and then sit back to wait and see if you've been named one of the 30 finalists.  If you are, fans will then vote on the videos, and the winner will be announced sometime in April. Submissions are due by March 9.

In Tampa, 3 Series BMW sticker prices are, admittedly, quite a bit more expensive than "free," but that doesn't mean you can't find your way into the seat of one of these beautiful automobiles without having to pay for it.  Just enter the contest, show your desire, and you could walk away with a free car.  And if you lose, there's always those free meals at IKEA and Panda Express.
