At Fields BMW Lakeland, our business is cars, but we are proud to represent an automaker that is dedicated to serving and supporting the passions of those who matter most to us: our drivers. That's why we are so excited to see the BMW brand extend its partnership with Frieze Art Fair into its 10th year, and we hope you join us in celebrating the accomplishment!
BMW will present a program of sound works known as Frieze Sounds in the BMW 7 Series shuttle service during Frieze New York 2014, scheduled for a media preview May 8 and a public opening May 9-12. Three audio works have been commissioned in preparation for the event, and artists Cally Spooner of the U.K., Keren Cytter of Israel and Hannah Weinberger of Germany are prepared to share their creations! The fair will be hosted in Randall's Island Park in Manhattan.
Frieze Sounds has been a popular aspect of the Frieze Art Fair for the past two years, and our BMW dealership can't wait to see its success continue! In preparing for the third integration, Frieze Sounds programmer and curator Cecilia Alemani has sought to work with artists who use sound to engage audiences in a variety of ways.
The BMW 7 Series model is the epitome of luxury and performance, setting an entirely new benchmark for the luxury car market as a whole. Its top engine offering is a 6.0-liter TwinPower Turbo V12, available on the BMW 760Li, which is capable of 535 horsepower as well as accelerating from zero to 60 miles an hour in only 4.5 seconds. BMW has been powering the Frieze Art Fair VIP shuttle service in London since 2004 and in New York since 2012.
