It really only takes about 90 days for a consumer to figure out whether or not they love the new car they recently purchased. Three months is plenty of time for someone to get accustomed to the instrument panel and any accompanying infotainment software, the handling and power of the engine, and even how comfortable the seats for a long daily commute. Somewhere around 90 days into that relationship, the driver either says, "Yup, I love it," or, "I've made a huge mistake."
That being what it is, 90 days feels like a perfect amount of time for J.D. Power & Associates to pull aside a few of these customers (in this case, "a few" being 74,000) to talk about how they feel towards their new vehicles. The 90-day survey, which covers 80 different measures of ownership, is called the Automotive Performance, Execution, and Layout (APEAL) survey, and once again, we here at Fields BMW Lakeland are proud to announce that BMW finished in the top three out of 34 automakers included in the study.
Other Lakeland car dealers do a wonderful job selling their own brands of vehicles, but all we can say is that we're grateful to have a car that essentially sells itself. J.D. Power isn't the only organization to offer us accolades over the years, but the more that pile on, the more grateful we are to sell the cars we do. And you know what? It probably wouldn't take you 90 days to figure out that your new BMW is the kind of car people dream about.
