BMW M5 and M6 Have Finally Arrived!

They say that good things are worth waiting for, and while we're not exactly sure who "they" are, we think that they make a pretty good point.  As a kid, Christmas was always totally worth the anticipation, for example.  Anybody who's ever had a kid knows that nine months' worth of waiting is really no big deal considering the reward, and owners of the recently-released BMW M5 and M6 know that all the patience required for these excellent new vehicles was completely understandable, too.

But it's finally here.  No, not Christmas.  We're still a few months away from that, but the M5 and M6 have arrived at BMW dealerships all over the country, and we've had an overwhelmingly positive response to them this early in their availability.

For those who don't know, the M5 Sedan and M6 Coupe are performance vehicles that really put some grunt under their hoods.  Both boast the highest output ever generated by an M car thanks to a new high-revving V8 engine with TwinPower turbo technology.  That means 560 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque, which is even more than the outgoing V10.  In short, we're in love with the performance of these vehicles, and that's the major reason we feel so strongly that they were worth the wait.
