This feature offers BMW ActivE drivers (known as "Electronauts") aggregated national data regarding cost savings, range and positive environmental impact. What's more, this data refreshes weekly in order to provide customers with all of the necessary information they will need in order to purchase an electric vehicle.

So, we invite you to get a taste of the "Electronaut Effect" and learn more about the 700 BMW ActivE vehicles that marked a turning point for the BMW brand as the first fully electric BMW. The models joined their drivers in January of last year in the BMW ActivE Field Trial, from which "Electronaut Effect" users will draw streamlined data in three crucial categories: Range (most miles driven in one day), Savings (total dollars saved) and Environment (the amount of gas not utilized in gallons).
Now 6.1 million miles into the trial, the BMW Electronauts have achieved some pretty amazing figures, including driving 367.7 miles in one day and saving more than 275,000 gallons of gas as well as more than $740,000 in charging rather than purchasing gas.
