Today, the BMW Group renewed its partnership with the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) to announce the finalists for The Intercultural Innovation Award. The award and partnership are designed to encourage and exemplify collaboration among the UN system and the private sector. The award recognizes original grassroots projects that are centered on intercultural understanding between the two groups with the purpose of attaining peace and prosperity among global societies. Winners receive a monetary award on top of consulting services from the UNAOC and the BMW Group.
In addition, the awarding parties strive to honor initiatives that may be reproduced in other settings in need. That is why winners are welcomed as members of the World Intercultural Facility for Innovation, which unites them with advisors and potential donors for further inspiration and direction. Through the appointment, winners are also able to participate in conferences and workshops on top of earning enhanced support for their projects.
