Last month, BMW USA sales alone rose 25 percent over the same month in 2012. Year to date, the BMW brand is also seeing great sales improvements over 2012, with the current figures pacing 11 percent above the first half of last year.
In 2013, the BMW brand has enjoyed outstanding sales growth across a number of new and popular models, with expectations continuing to rise as the all-new X5 becomes available in the second half of the year. June top sellers included the 6 Series (1,409 units sold for a 120-percent increase), the 3 Series (10,957 units sold for a 63-percent increase), the X3 SAV (2,981 units sold for a 6-percent increase) and the 7 Series (855 units sold for a 59-percent increase).
Pre-owned BMW sales are celebrating strong June figures as well, with pre-owned and Certified Pre-Owned models enjoying a 3-percent increase over June 2012. Year-to-date sales are also up 5.2 percent on volume over first-half 2012 sales, making for the best sales results in the first six months of any year that BMW Pre-Owned inventory has ever seen.
