Certified CenterAt Fields BMW Lakeland, we are proud to see new and pre-owned BMW inventory in the spotlight every day at our dealership. Recently, though, we were proud to see BMW inventory make a special appearance at an event honoring Women in Film (WIF).
The BMW brand acted as premiere sponsor of the 2014 Crystal + Lucy Awards fundraising dinner supporting Women in Film as well as Los Angeles and related philanthropic and educational programs. The fundraising dinner was held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles on June 11 with host Tracee Ellis Ross.
VIP guests were escorted to the event in an assortment of premium BMW vehicles, including the BMW 6 Series, BMW 7 Series, BMW X5 and BMW ALPINA. Also featured on the red carpet at the event was the BMW i8 plug-in hybrid high-performance electric vehicle.
Honored at this year's event were Cate Blanchett, Eva Longoria, Jennifer Lee, Kerry Washington and Rose Byrne while attendees included Joey Fisher, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Diahann Carroll.

Women in Film is a non-profit organization focused on both expanding and enhancing the portrayal of women in the global media in addition to promoting equal opportunities for women in the industry and supporting creative projects led by women. WIF is dedicated to advocacy and education through providing grants, scholarships and film finishing funds as well as organizing efforts to preserve the legacies of women involved in the entertainment community.
