Now Brandon drivers can enjoy the 2015 BMW M4 Coupe both on and off the road. That's because the BMW M Performance M4 Safety Car has been selected by BMW of North America and Polyphony Digital, Inc., as a new addition to the Gran Turismo®6 game available for the PlayStation®3 gaming system. Announced at the 2014 SEMA Show last week, the game enhancement will be available to users as a free update later this month. The BMW M Performance M4 Safety Car made its industry debut for the North American market as the demonstration vehicle for the brand's BMW M Performance Parts in North America at the SEMA Show as well.
The vehicle was developed by BMW of North America to display the latest accessories available in the M Performance Parts catalog. Industry attendees at the SEMA Show got a closer look at the true BMW M Performance M4 Safety Car in addition to having the opportunity to be one of the first Gran Turismo 6 driving simulators.
The Safety Car platform is drawn from the 2015 BMW M4 Coupe model and includes a 3M custom body wrap in the brand's BMW Motorsport theme colors. Additional adjustments include a range of BMW M Performance parts, such as a carbon fiber splitter system, side splitters, carbon fiber rear spoiler, black BMW kidney grilles and black side gills, carbon fiber mirror caps and a carbon fiber rear diffuser plus a titanium exhaust system featuring carbon fiber exhaust tips. Finally, the model carries LED grille-mounted flashers as well as an LED rooftop light bar.
