Based on our years serving drivers, we have seen that a strong beginning marks a successful experience, and now that we're looking back on March sales, we're happy to see that the BMW brand has come to the same conclusion.
Last month wrapped up the first quarter in particularly strong standing, with BMW Group breaking U.S. sales records for the first quarter of the year. In March alone, the brand earned a 7-percent jump with 34,310 unit sales as compared with 32,107 unit sales in the same month of 2014.
Contributing to excellent sales last month were BMW 4 Series and BMW 3 Series models like the 2015 BMW 328i. Brandon drivers who have taken a spin behind the wheel know there's no better place to begin a journey, and drivers throughout the country seem to have caught on. The model lines saw a 47-percent increase in sales last month while the BMW 2 Series model line enjoyed an incredible 124-percent boost in sales over March 2014.
