In less than two weeks, the BMW brand will be doing just the same by showcasing some of their adventures and discoveries at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Making their world premieres at the event will be the 2015 BMW 6 Series Coupe, 2015 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe and 2015 BMW 6 Series Convertible in addition to the 2015 BMW M6 Coupe, 2015 BMW M6 Gran Coupe and 2015 BMW M6 Convertible.
The brand will also showcase the BMW i models along with recent additions to its ConnectedDrive system, which will be introducing navigation map updates over mobile phone networks through a SIM card that is built right into the vehicle. This service is offered without license fees or data transfer charges to drivers and is updated at multiple points throughout the year to capture regional map changes.
BMW i models on display will feature improvements to the vehicles' electric mobility offerings, including ChargeNow and ParkNow services. The former feature enables charging and payment services while the latter helps drivers find parking spaces on the go.
