The large air inlets ensure optimal cooling of the engine, oil, brakes, and charge air, while also cooling the transmission oil in the M DCT. Additional air inlets in the side M gills and the Air Curtain, together with integrated Air Breather behind the wheel arches, work to create an accelerated flow of air around the front wheels. What does this mean for you? In short, a smoother ride, as this buffer of air serves to minimize turbulence and reduce air resistance. But these features are only part of the puzzle. To cut down on lift, the gurney flap further optimizes the aerodynamic balance between the front and rear axles.
